The highest flagpole in the world, in Kijungdong, or Propaganda Village, of North Korea. It stands 160m tall.
Close up of the flagpole. The size of the flag is known to be 35m×28m. It weighs more than 100kg, and it takes more than 40 people just to raise and lower the flag.
Close up of the monument next to the flagpole. It says "Great chief Kim Il Sung will be with us forever".
The monument in memory of people who were killed in the ax murder incident of 1976. The Round platform marks the place where the willow tree of the famous ax murder incident was.
"The Bridge of No Return" let the day come quickly, when this bridge is crossed by everyone freely...
